Xt600e Rear brake retaining bolt
 

Hello looking for info on the bolt that holds the rear brake assembly to the rear swing arm...

After working on the rear suspension linkage and putting the bike back together, and driving it to the MOT the bolt fell out as I must have forgotten to tighten it. So this contributed to the MOT failure.

Does anyone know the size of this bolt and where I can get it on short notice?

I think you have to order original, its not a standard bolt. Its not the same length on both bolts.

Both bolts? There is just one... As long as I can get the width right. I can cut down the length?

Or still not possible without ordering an original?

Ok i understand its not the caliper bolt, but the mounting for rear arm. Yes its ok find any bolt that fits, i dont have the measurement.

10mm bolt, 30mm long.

I recall it beeing a finethread bolt, probably 1mm thread pitch.
