XT660x - MT60s?

I have the XT660X - I want to put a tyre on that has a little off-road handling - the street tyres are great and given 90% of my riding is on the street it's all good... however - I'm considering the MT60s MT 60 , Motorcycle Tyres - PIRELLI

Does anyone have any experience with these - or is there another tyre that will fit?

Front: 120/70 - R17
Rear: 160/60 - R17

Great tyres... Very sticky on the road (better than some sports tyres) but the rear wears FAST !! Like 3000 miles fast...

Ted, Matt is talking about the MT60s:
Front: 120/70 - R17 58V TL
Rear: 160/60 - R17 69V TL
Those tires come first on the original KTM Duke 640 Supermotard kind years ago, special made for them. I believe are made in Germany as many R tires made by Pirelli/Metzeler. Provably will last longer than the cheapie Brazilian made you use to worn out...:cool4:

@javkap thanks for that...... really helpful and good to hear they've been used on a similar machine in the past... now... where did I put that credit card? :helpsmilie:

I had some MT60's on my XR650R Supermoto ! I burnt the rear out in 3000 miles, although I rode aggressively.

coming to think of it, I think there are different varieties ??? Maybe an RS or something ?????

I can't remember.
