XTZ660 versus XT600E
 

If you had the choice of crossing africa on a yamaha, which one would you choose and why:

XT600Z from 1989 with 32000km or a new XT600E

Did you mean XT600Z or XTZ660? The former is quite similar to the current XT600E but with better suspension, whereas the latter is water-cooled, heavier and more powerfull than the XT600E.
