Yamaha TT600RE - Overland parts wanted. Tank, racks etc
Hi all.
I got my TTR600 delivered today. Runs well. A little tappety but I'll sort that out soon enough. I'm now on the hunt for some overland goodies. I definitely need a large tank, a rear rack, etc. Anyone got anything lying around ? Cheers, Ted |
The stock tank is tiny. And steel. I don't like fuel containers either..

Can you stick some pictures up ted, I gave away about four months ago a plastic tank and a set new tank panels as well, didn't think I would need them, sat on the shelf for ages, it's always the same, them tanks are not cheap ted, the racks I've seen them go on Italian eBay quite cheap, I'll keep an eye out, post a list of what you need m8.

I need:
Acerbis tank Rear rack Side racks Spares like throttle and clutch cables etc Its going to be as low cost a build as possible. I plan to either find someone to ride it home from Mongolia for me or sell it there. |
That's tidy that ted, I would want it back me or leave it out there then go back the following year, if that doesn't happen then you can decide

hi ted the acerbis tank you need is the one with the metal thread for the cap,the ebay one is the right one,but they hold 20 litres, the earlier all plastic tank is for the tt600e and s models TT 600 S/E ,steve

I can source one for about £250 new.
I was hoping to get a second hand one but as it's such a rare bike, they're like gold dust. |
