If there is a problem where is the fix? Just do it?
|
I watched videos. My sound is completely different, and it's good on the spot just when I'm going to do it occasionally. This sound only drive.
|
Sounds to me like it is maybe a noisy drive chain roller.
|
Sounds the chain roller to me too.
|
Is it related to engine speed or road speed? If it's road speed it'll be something to do with the chain or final drive. Check the output bearing hasn't got excess play, that neither sprocket is loose, that the chain hasn't got excessive tight/loose play and the support roller, cush drive or cush drive bearing isn't shot.
And maybe consider wearing something a bit more than trainers and bare ankles when riding a bike where you suspect a transmission problem ;) |
Only a slow acceleration ride is done. The new chassis kit is 2000km. But when I build a chain on 4cm and sweep the wheel then it is 2.5cm. The difference in wheel speed is + -1.5cm. The solution? Buy a new chain?

Throw some oil under that chain roller that is over the swingarm pivot , right behind the front sprocket . It's likely running dry and when worn they make one hell of a noise . If a person lubes the chain with one of the waxy type lubes or one that leaves a residue the rollers typically get lubed plus turn slower and don't rattle , but when dry and clean they try to run the same speed as the chain .
I made my own nylon rollers and made them with minimal clearance so when fresh and clean they really screamed . Some chain wax(Maxim chain wax) under it plus with my lubing the chain often it's all quiet . . |
And can not it be a problem in the pull chain? Can it be ascertained whether it is happening from the engine? I'm afraid of it.

Use a motorcycle stand for the rear and run bike, much easier to find where sound is coming from..You can also use slippers and shorts then:thumbup1::scooter::scooter:

It does not always do it at times, I've been playing this video for 30 minutes.

On Thursday, a new chain will come and I will see. If the problem is still how can I find out if it is not from the engine? There is silence on the spot and there is no sound. I started doing it when I raining on a motorcycle. Chain lubricate every 500 km.
|
Today, the new chain has come and has not helped. I found out that this is 100% off the engine. During the ride, when I add, it starts to blow up in the engine, and if I add it even more makes it louder. But not always! Where could be the problem ?
