Yamaha XTZ660 Tenere

Hi All.

I have a '97 Xtz660 Tenere & want to change to a 'dirtbike' style of footpeg. Metal with serrated teeth.
Does anybody know if there is a Yamaha model that just bolts straight on. Mabye WR/YZ etc.
Thanks for any help. :thumbup1:

Look under the rubber of the footrest, does it not simply unscrew, revealing the metal toothed footpeg.

I read that the tw200 footrests fit the older XT600 not sure about the 660
Check out no.10

Ralph is correct, the rubber is removed by a nut underneath the metal pegs to reveal what you are after :thumbup1:

Not necessarily - some just have a plain metal core, no footpegs underneath. Guess it depends on the model and country - metal footpegs are illegal in Germany for example.

Foot pegs

Hi,

I have a 1997 xtz660. I have put CCM 604 foot pegs on mine. They fit straight on no adapting needed, and are much wider and serrated giving better ergonomics whilst standing, (as the tank is so wide).

I found the standard pegs too small off road.....

Yeah... just undo the hex screw underneath the rubber footpegs to reveal the mx serrated footpegs.:thumbup1:
