Montenegro 2014
A very special " Thank you" must go to Blazo, Tonko and their friends for making all this happen. They laboured daily not just on the set-up but making sure everyone was as happy as she or he could be.
It was a fun-filled meeting with very special Camaraderie in a spectacular part of Montenegro. You just can't pay for scenery and trails like these!
The weather was fabulous and even the spectacular thunderstorm one night provided unexpected entertainment!. Ioanis was sleeping in his tiny pop up tent through it all while it was blown from left to right at absurd angles was a sight to behold! He modestly said " I had earplugs in and could not hear a thing". Had it blown any harder, I reckon he would have been the first Greek on the moon!
Goca kept up well fed with lamb stews, home made cheese, smoked meats and those delicious, golden breakfast 'dumplings'- which you could coat with local honey or home-made plumb jam.
The wild and locally picked thyme tea was delicious too as were the shots of a local apple 'schnapps' to keep our internal fire stoked!
Thank you to those who provided the photos, Knut and Cristina, Marija, Damjan and Ioanis and I'll let them speak for themselves in no particular order below (apology to chronologists!)

Looks like it has been a greet meeting again. And very nice to see some familiar faces from last year on the photos.
We were in MNE a bit early to attend, but we did stop by at Vranjak for the tasty breakfast a couple of days earlier.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
