This is also possible for motorcycles with sidecar and/ or trailer. You can travel on the same train yourself. I used the Narbonne route a few times in wintertime and I found it very convenient. It brings you overnight close to the Spanish border, you do not have to pay for the road and expensive petrol, no problems with traffic or weather conditions and saves one day of travel and accommodation.
