Arctic circle
Hi,
My partner and I will be driving from the UK to Finland via Norway and/or Sweden, returning via the Baltic States. We'll be leaving towards the end of July and will be travelling in a 2WD car.
Has anyone out there done this trip before? Any tips? We've both done banger rallies before (to Azerbaijan, Gambia and Mali) so the driving doesn't bother us, just looking for ideas on routes etc.
Thanks.

Just take a map and Go!
If there is road on map you can drive it.
There is also lot of small trails what can be driven, but they are normally dead ends for cars.

We did this in February but returned south via Sweden due to unforeseen circumstances. gutted we missed the Baltics however I think we would be behind schedule now if we did go that way.
I would spend some time in the Fjord region of Norway and spend some time with a map working out your route north on/off the E6. You should have great weather for wildcamping at that time of year also! Alta has a small campsite with onsite sauna, worth a visit. We liked Honningsvag also.
Finland was amazing and its worth exploring the north.
sorry I cant help with specifics, It was cold (-25) when we were there so were in a hurry to hit Nordkapp and return south.
