Thanks

Sam,

Great to meet you and everyone else who kept me amused for the full weekend. And thanks to you all who answered (mainly) mine and Nick's (daft) questions all weekend. Had a great time and got lots of new ideas to go and think about.

Cheers All

Thanks again

Well..........

Hi All

well Billing was good if you are into Land Rovers, meeting friends and/or new acquaintances, looking for kit, etc, etc - I did a few of the above and it was a very useful day.
Going forwards I think a Hubb/overlander meet would be great - so check out the thread and lets get organising.

I could possibly arrange a nice venue on an large/estate farm - but it would be in the Norfolk Broads which isn't very central....

I was at billing, was good, picked some bits up for my 110 project.

I saw Matt beavering away, was going to say "hi" but he looked busy selling stuff, so i didn't want to bother him, but "Hi Matt!" anyway... :-)

Hi!!

I was busy a bit. But it was an 'average' Billing as far as the turnover went. But as always, our hospitality set up was bigger than the selling part!!

Cheers,
Matt

Didn't you mention something about a 'post Billing' special hubb discount sales bargain bin overstocked all stock must go type sale to all those that asked nicely this week only Matt?

Or did the wind blur the message as it travelled to me from afar....?

Yes Darrin, thank you for pointing that out!

What Darrin is pushing me to say, is that as Billing was a bit (only a bit) of a flop for me, I do have quite a few compressor kits in stock. In fact more than I do normally.

So I was thinking of selling some off cheap! (cheap ish!!)
I'm going away on holiday now for a few days, and I won't have the time to sort out what's what now. But, when I get back I will make a list of things that'll be cheap. It is mostly on board compressor kits. But I need to figure it out first.
So, wait for a week or so and I'll make a list and post it on here.

Thanks Darrin, Mr Motivator!!

Cheers,
Matt

PS, my wife has just made the most gorgeous looking lemon cake... yum yum..

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
