An offer on a Mitsubishi Delica 4x4 in Bishkek
Hi there,
I'm one of three young Brits, we've brought a Mitsubishi Delica L400 4x4 out to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan from the UK. I'm not entirely sure whether this is the right place to post this, but we are looking for a little help.
We are due to fly out of Almaty in 5 days, and have encountered some difficulties in getting rid of our car because of the Eurasian Customs Union. It seems that even if we are to scrap the car, this will not give us the appropriate documentation to prevent fines if we reenter one of the member countries in the future.
We wondered firstly, whether anyone is aware of the likelihood of penalties when reentering the customs union countries, or if there is any way around this without shipping the car out?
Secondly, we're looking for buyers who might want to do a road trip back to Europe. They could either buy the car outright, or alternatively, we would be happy to sort out the paperwork so they could drive the car back to the UK free of charge and then return it to us.
The car will require some minor work, but mechanically it is in good shape; it is an excellent off-road vehicle, and with seats that fold flat to make a bed, is the perfect car for a road-trip.
Enquiries or tips would be much appreciated: simon_pepper@hotmail.co.uk,
Thanks!
Simon
