If you're parked up in urban areas etc. an inside loo helps keep a low profile.

I remember camping at Third Bridge in the Okavango Delta in 1993. we had a rooftop tent, but I had diarrhea. Walking to the toilet block in pitch darkness with lions roaring in the bushes...several times that night.
