More Kidepo and also Murchison Falls NP.

https://stuckinlowgear.com/kidepo-na...ison-falls-np/

We loved Kidepo, more than the much more visited Murchison Falls National Park. Its a long haul to get up there, but I think worth it.

Of interest to HUBBers is that I believe you can ride motorcycles in all the Ugandan game parks, unlike most other parks in Africa.

Next blog post is up, deeper into Western Uganda: https://stuckinlowgear.com/ziwa-roya...rt-fortportal/

I forgot to mention (I think?) that the roads we drove in NW Kenya would be spectacular on a motorcycle. Specifically the Iten > Kabernet > Marigat road, as well as the Cherangani highway.

Next blog post is up. We bit the bullet (sort of) on gorilla trekking in Uganda. It was great, but if you don't have the $$ for it don't agonize over it too much for not going, you can do a LOT of traveling for the price of a gorilla permit.

A quick dash through Rwanda :

https://stuckinlowgear.com/a-quick-j...anda-lakekivu/

I think the Congo Nile Trail in Rwanda would make for some excellent Adv motorcycle riding.

We drove the lakeshore road along northern Lake Tanganyika, and then the Bamboo Valley track inland north of Mahale. Super scenic, we also got stuck. Good times all around. New blog post about it is up.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to do some exploration and unplanned travels in well trodden Botswana.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
