Eastern Loop of Aus July - Sep 09
Hi Everyone,
I'm riding north from Sydney mid July. Going as far north in QLD as I can, then accross to Darwin, down to alice springs, Adelaide, GOR, then back through central NSW.
Thats the rough plan I have now.
Looking for anyone who wants to join me for any part of the way.
Or if anyone has any advice or suggestions that would be great too as I'm still unsure of all the opportunities out there.
Thanks!
Bonnie

Long Winter Loop
Hi Bonnie,
Certainly sounds like a plan!.
If you like dirt or back-roads under the tyres I'd be interested in at least a few days run North, and know some interesting backroads I can pass-on if the timing doesn't work out, keep in touch if interested .
Cheers.
Frank.

Sweet dude, that would be great.
I'm looking at leaving 12th of july, or the week after.
Back roads would be great. I'm still new to off-road. I love it, but I'm a little slower than the pros

Maybe not this time
Hi Bonnie,
I've just had a work-roster change that will make trying to sync-up a tad more difficult.
Please keep in touch with an actual date - and if I'm in Oz then it's on !.
If not then I can still pass-on some maps / tips.
Cheers !

Well this reply is a little late :P
I'm in Adelaide now. I decided to go west via the Great Ocean Road. Will be in Perth in a few weeks.
How're things going for you Frank?

Cool but still keen
Hi Bonnie,
Great to hear you were able to get away, the trip across from Port Augusta is one worth savouring along the coast where possible.
I've worked parts of the West Coast and would say you will really enjoy the run-up the West !. If you enjoy coastal fishing you'll never want to leave the place !
Please send a PM when you get nearer Darwin / NT as I spent a lot of time in the North too and can recommend great stops ..
Keep us in touch - especially when closer to home - and happy riding !!
Frank.!

Hi Frank,
Yes, I am really looking forward to warmer weathers and the west coast. Not much of a fisherwoman, but you never know, I may just pick it up
I'll be up in NT in about a months time. Will send you another msg then.
Thanks!
Bonnie

Northern Dreaming
Hi Bonnie,
Great to hear you're going well, the West coast has a heap of great stops, so don't be shy when you see a sign heading to the coast !.
When you start North from Perth, send a PM and I'll forward some tips as I've worked on the west and NT over the years.
Cheers and I hope you enjoy crisp mornings - you'll see a few !.
Frank.

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
