Howdy

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, Mods feel free to move it

I thought that maybe it could be good to put any links to websites here if you are allowed to help people out like me!

Cheers Scott

Hi,

I think you are unlikely to find alu panniers in NZ. When I left hardly anyone was using "normal" panniers, let alone alu ones.

Try this German site: http://www.adventure-enduro.de/alukoffer/

Cheers,
Peter.

Don't know what happened to this reply of mine. It was in response to a question about aluminium panniers in NZ. I wonder how it ended up in this thread...

In Oz try www.exploroz.com for current track conditions, weather, some good dual sport rides, fuel prices. forums, heaps and heaps of useful info. While this is a 4WD orientated site this info is useful to all.

Hi Rob
I normally stay at the Top 10 Parks, as they often have lodges similar to backpacker rooms
You wont find a shortage of Backpackers here in NZ, I will see if I can find a link or two

Cheers Scott

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
