BIKE AVAILABILITY IN SANTIAGO DE CHILE
I've got a YAMAHA XD 600 cross-bike for sale; year of production: 1992, 45 horse powers, 2 seats, 35.000 km, it comes with a helmet and two bike-cases of 40L and 30L. The bikeisin an excellent condition: the only reason why I am selling it is because the shiping costs are higher than the value of the motorbike.
price: 1400 US$ incl. the helmet and the cases.
I am staying in Santiago de Chile, in the following youth hostel: Scott SCS Habitat, SanVicente 1798. The phone number is (02) 683 3732; ask for Sandra from Austria. Otherwise you can send me an e-mail easily or just reply....
You could even help me if you'd be interesting in riding my bike from Santiago de Chile to SAnta Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.
Take care & enjoy your trip!

Ahhh that ad was posted april 2003.... Id expect it is long gone.
Yet again, it shows the good reason we ask people to remove their adswhen the item is sold.
Cheers bloke

I think this person is a Father Ted fan. He had a placard saying that which he used as a general protest. The poster obviously thinks its funny enough to post twice.
Cheers

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
