Hi sunbikeride,
I'm starting an EU tour for 7wks on 1st of May, and have had already 3 'purchases' go bad having nothing to do with me! 1st seller pulled out, was a choice between 2nd & 3rd, went with the dealer who sold out from under me, and then 3rd choice gone. I'm pretty stuck now since I only have 4weeks and need so sort a bike AND V5 in that time.
Anyhow, I have a bike to use in New Zealand if you are keen. Amazing riding here. I have a 2009 BMW 650x, which can GO ANYWHERE. Very reliable bike also, and very rare these days. Highly sought after.
For me, I just need to borrow a bike. I will have NZ license AND International. Got a mate in central london (x british army), and arrive in Paris on the 30th of April. My mate is borrowing a bike from a UK guy in France for 500Euro and is being added as another insured rider on his insurance (high excess but free).
Any chance?

I would want your bike in March next year, not to sure how we can make this work, if your flying into Paris, also as a named rider {paper work good} don't know if bike can go into main land Europe, as policy holder I can but only for 30 days.
Robert.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
