Renting bikes in Argentina

Hi everyone,
I am off to Argentina at the end of the year and I am hoping to rent a bike while I am there. Can anyone suggest a good company I can hire a bike from?

motocare buenos aires

I rented a transalp 650 from this company in feb 2008. Very professional and good quality equipment. I'm pretty sure if you search here you'll find a post i made after my trip. I may rent with him this year.

Contact me if you have any specific questions.

Hi,
If you are looking for a BMW, you can contact a dealer called "Cordasco BMW" nice guys, good service, almost new bikes for rental. They are located about 500 mts away from Jorge Newbery Airport in Buenos Aires (AKA Aeroparque). Cordasco's coordinates can be retrieved from the internet. Regards!

Renting in Argentina - Motorcare

I have just completed an 11000 KM trip through Argentina and Chile. I rented the Transalp 650 through Motocare in Buenos Aires. The man in charge, Mariano, was excellent from start to finish. I arrived in BA thinking that it might be difficult to find a trustworthy company to rent through. But with Motocare, I couldn't have asked for a better level of professionalism. The service was impeccable and Mariano speaks fluent English which really helps for a non-Spanish speaker.

If you have any specific questions, let me know.

Jack

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
