Want to swap bikes - BWM GS LC in Christchurch NZ
Hi,
if you are coming to NZ from Europe sometime AND have a BMW ( or similar) back in Europe i'd be keen to talk swapping bikes.
I'd like to travel Europe ( IoM, Alps) May 2020 and you maybe want to see New Zealand.
Bikes in NZ: BMW GS LC '14 and a Triumph StreetTwin '18
Cheers / Gruss

Hey Stefan! I'll be down there in early-mid December, and would definitely be interested in a swap. I've got a 2008 Yamaha FZ1 here in the northeast corner of Europe (close and convenient for Nordkapp/Norway, etc.). It's not an offroader, though it'll go down a dirt track to a wild campsite easily enough, and it's set up for adventure with a tall screen, hard luggage, etc.

Your swap offer
Hey Stefan,
I'm located in the south west of Germany for about only 100 KM from Rattelschneck away. I can offer you a BMW F650GS for use. May be if you need a second bike you can combine these bikes for a ride with a friend of yours.
If you are coming to Europe you are welcome to my Location. If it's possible to combine your visit with my Job may be we can also do some trips and I'll show you my home area (Black forest).
Regards
Axel

Hi Stefan
Did you make any arrangement yet?
I'm very interested in swopping bikes.
I'm located i Denmark and have different bikes. I would suggest My Honda Pan European ST 1100 or Honda Transalp 650 as good bikes to do some Europe touring. Also have house that i would be willing to offer as a point to start your trip.
Let me know what you think.
Best regards
Per

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
