RD07A 1999 Africa Twin 750cc Located in UK near to Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

I have owned the bike from new and it now has 142,000 miles on it. Serviced regular by myself (ex race mechanic). Used mostly on the road and bever abused.
It has a few age related marks and a couple of cracks to fairing. The original trip meter stopped working (still have it) and is replaced by Trailtech unit, see photo.
Original Showa shock is replaced by Ohlins with remote preloaded and compression. This along with Ohilin progressive spring up front transformed the bike, handles like a dream and so easy to adjust for luggage and pillion.
Motad stainless Steel crash bars have a couple of scuffs from falling over when stationary. There is a Scott oiler and touring reservoir behind number plate but I have disconnected it as I didn't like the mess. Could easily be hooked back up.
Tyres have bit of life left in them. I was going to replace but decided to negotiate a discount for potential buyers tyres of choice.
There is a 12v socket under seat and on dash. Renthal bars fitted with Oxford heated grips. Headlight have plastic shields to protect alarmingly expensive lights (learned the hard way). Givi top box included. I have 2 other Give boxes and mounting rack also included. The rack could do with a lick of paint that's why they are not on bike.
Original silencer rotted a hole and now wears a Delkevic end can and link pipe.
This bike still pulls like a train and is a joy to ride.
Why am I selling? I am selling up and concentrating on a lighter bike as I find the Africa is just too heavy for me now that I am in late 60s. Will be sad to see it go as it is one of the best bikes I have owned.
