Hello fellow travelers. Been wandering from Canada to Ushuaia with a very well sorted KLR650 that will be for sale mid or late Feb.
This bike has a number of mods for long distance, go almost anywhere riding.
If you are serious about meeting somewhere (Santiago, Chile) around the end of Feb to transfer the bike and start your journey, awesome! We both need to be present for the transfer so it would only work if we can meet in late Feb.
Here’s a basic rundown of the bike:
2015 KLR 650
$2300 US without bags
$2500 US with bags (Wolfman Soft side bags and Wolfman rollup top bag)
BC Canada registered and it’ll have approx. 60,000 Kms/37,000 miles at the end of the trip. I bought it new and have been the only person riding this bike.

· Mechanical Cruise Control (throttle lock)
The goods:
· Runs great. It’s been incredibly reliable. I fall down, pick it up, and it runs.
· Very well suited to long distance travelling. Has been great for the Americas.
The not so good:
The bodywork is ugly. I’ve taken it on a number of trails that it didn’t belong on with my skill level. I’ve crashed it and fallen over multiple times. If you’re looking for something that you’d like to wax up on Sundays, this isn’t your bike. However, if you want to simply throw some mud at it, park in front of Starbucks and tell everyone about your rad adventures…there you go.
Btw, riding with a friend who is also selling his DR650 so if you are looking for two bikes, we can all meet at the same time/place.
