sadly our bikers dream comes to an end and our trip through South America ends soon :-( If you are looking for an reliable travel buddy - I have something for you :-) My background is mechanical and provess engineering (automotive) and the the motorcycles were always maintained (oil change, air filter and gasoline filter renewed and chain tension and lubricant checked daily). In addition they were ridden mostly on asphalt roads. Both bikes have peruvian plates (with our name in the paper) and SOAT until 04/20 and 06/20. The bikes will be sold with an „Poder Ilimitado“ which is an official document by a notary with your and our name in it. It allows you to cross borders, sell the bikes again or change the owners name in the paper. We have been in Peru, Chile and Argentina with no problem.

We are currently in Salta (Argentina) and will travel south and plan to reach Santiago (Chile) in 10 days. But we are open to change the planning if nescessary :-)
