Car is in perfect conditions! Ready to start driving right now to the Northern desert and highlands of Chile and later to Bolivia and Perú or set course for the raging wilderness and pristine landscapes of Patagonia.

All paperwork is to date and updated to June 2019 (In Chile, strict examination of the car conditions and gas emissions is done every year and is obligatory by law).

- New car battery.

- Brakes with 5.000 km more to go (checked it with two different mechanics one in Puerto Montt and another one in Santiago. The ABS light on the car started to turn on 600km ago but mechanics say there is nothing wrong with the brake and could be fixed with a scanner. Car went through its technical inspection less than 100km. ago and brakes were in perfect condition).

- Plenty (at least 7) compartments to keep clothes, kitchen utensils and others so you can easily access your stuff (specially useful on rainy days).

- Car comes with: mattress and new sheets, 2ring-cooking stove, 8lt. gas tank, big pot, ropes, 6 cups, etc.), electric inversor and secondary battery to plug and charge electronics such as your computer (it still needs to be hooked up to the car battery in order to recharge while driving).

New to Horizons Unlimited?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
