SEEKING: Motorcycle in Chile / Argentina
Hello Everyone!
I am currently searching for a motorcycle to tour South America ASAP. My plan is to buy a foreign- registered motorcycle in the southern end of Chile / Argentina and ride up to Colombia.

My last bike was a Yamaha XT225 and I did a small tour around the southwestern US. Staying within my budget is a higher priority than speed so, although I would love a bigger bike, I would gladly settle for something smaller if it fits the budget.

I have spent the last 21 months traveling between Alaska and Panama and I am looking to complete my tour of the Americas. I've hitchhiked from Fairbanks to Vancouver, hiked from Vancouver to San Diego, bussed around Mexico, and bicycled through Central America.

I have browsed through the Horizons Unlimited forums as well as through a few of the FB groups. If anyone is selling a motorcycle, or knows someone who is selling, please let me know!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
