The pannier boxes are pretty much universal (except the 'sondersystem' ones with a special cut out section for the exhaust)
I bought a set 42 litre and 35 litre from a guy with an Africa twin and refitted them on my BMW GS . You will have to redrill the mounting holes and block the old ones but this is easily done. The cases are aluminium and drilling is very easy. I blocked the old africa twin holes buy purchasing a couple of sheets of thin aluminum plate from my local DIY store and rivetting them inside the boxes before redrilling the new holes. This plate is sealed with some silicone round the edges has remained watertight for years.
The important thing you will need is the correct frame to mount the panniers . This will not transfer from the 1150 GS to yours. I suggest you take a look at Touratech's website . They have some very helpful tech support people (in Germany) and if you contact them them will tell you what parts you will need.
Bottom line is that if you can buy the TT boxes cheap enough I'd grab them . If you have a look at them and figure you can't fit them after all they will be easy to sell quickly . These are normally very sought after items and I have seen ebay second hand cases selling for more than new price several times.... (I don't understand that but it's true)

Still on my first set of boxes, but now the fourth set up. Went BMW F650 with TT rack, XT600E with TT rack, BMW R1100R with Hepco and Becker rack and now Triumph Bonneville with Metal mule rack. The panniers are a little like swiss cheese but the ally plate and drill more holes as required thing works just fine.
