I've just fitted Keihan down tubes (without balance pipe) and a Keihan s/s exhaust from Motorworks - a stainless copy of the original. I already had the Keihan y piece. All works fine. Although the right hand pipe doesn't seem to fit quite right, and is currently vibrating against the sump guard, but i'm sure i can sort that out. Keihan seems good quality.
I also had the carbs cleaned, s/s pushrod tubes, replaced an exhaust valve and de-coked. The engine is idling too high when fully warmed up - carbs needs adjusting, and surging a little - throttle cables are snagging under the tank.
I feel that it is a bit more responsive at low revs, and a bit quicker. But that might just be my imagination, or the 20kg weight lost from stripping off the fairing and lots of other un-necessary junk.
