Richa clothing
Anyone use Richa gear, textile or leather?
My partner got a textile jacket and trousers and I'm pretty impressed with the quality, features and fit. Also some of the lightest gear I've come across and a fair price too.
Any more fans?

Yes, I have used a pair of their textile trousers for quite some years, maybe the last 8 or so.
As you say, good kit made in Germany in those days (could be different nowadays of course). Leather patches on the knees are wearing well, they have a quality feel to the materials, built in armour as standard, and only recently has the fabric liner in the most-used-pocket started to rip.
I also have a pair of gloves made by Richa - I don't wear them as often (lots of gloves to choose from!) but they seem OK for all that.

User a Richa air mesh jacket for several years, no problems at all, all zips and fasteners fine.
Used a pair of Richa textile pants for the same length of time, found the tags on the zips came off - replaced with rings off key rings. Split the waterproof membrane around the waist, the membrane material seems to cling to boot rubber, so take your boots off before putting the trousers on.....!!
. Used their gloves as well.
Pleased enough with their quality over all.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
