quick drying underwear

Hi all

Im looking for a quick drying solution for underwear whilst wearing around camp ( I use LDC pants for riding and there fantastic)

I have in the past used silk but this last trip they sort of fell apart when I was wringing them out to get most of the water out.

They have to be quick drying as I only carry 2 sets of clothes (one being worn whilst the other is washed)

Looking for boxer style if possible

I've always fancied a Commando but I was thinking of something completely different!

going commando is a no no .... cause otherwise I would have to wash my long trousers more

I have found Icebreaker to be very quick drying, and if I really can't wait putting them on slightly damp is no big deal as they dry while on in no time.

Don't know if they are sold elsewhere but in the US you can buy X-Officio underwear. Wash up quickly and dry in about two hours ... even in humidity.
They wick really well and are anti-bacterial.

Two pair is all you need. Wash every day or every other day. I wear same type fabrics with socks and T-shirts .... all quick drying cycling stuff. I also wear gel padded cycling shorts for really long days (over 300 miles). The Italian ones dry quickly, really add to comfort on the bike. Down side is ALL this stuff is expensive.

I buy T's and cycling shorts mostly 2nd hand at Goodwill or Salvation Army. Hella deals there if you're lucky. (not socks or underwear ... I like NEW stuff!
Never use harsh detergents or hot dryers on XOfficio or other delicate fabrics. I wash 'em with hand soap or shampoo.

I use 100% Merinowool even after using it on a very hot ride it does not smell. It's a natural fabric and quick drying.

going to look into Icebreakers, Im not really bothered about high cost as I see it as an investment

I took some advice and bought decent silk skiddies. The kevlar lining in my daggin jeans has shredded them to pieces. It has been like using a brillo pad on them! I wont be buying any more but they were comfortable while they lasted and dried quick too.

The search goes on for something cheap, comfy and practical.
