Teknic Freeway Jacket - Brilliant.
I have finally worn out my old Teknic Freeway jacket. Worn almost every other day for commuting. It's been absolutely superb in almost every respect. It's not 100% waterproof but what jacket is... In the summer it comes into it's own with plenty of vents all over the thing.

A truly superb buy 2 years ago at the 2009 BMF in Peterborough. I found the jacket laying on the ground looking rather sorry for itself. Upon picking it up I saw it was in almost new condition! I snapped it up for only £5. Yes £5!
The "day glow" yellow doesn't put me off because I want to be seen by car drivers. Reminds me of my days blasting around London on white a BMW R75 with blue flashing lights (I'm a retired worn out ex bike cop). I'd reccommend you all wear something bright like this, it's not always very hip or fashionable but it does help considerably to keep you alive and in one piece...
I still can't understand why it was so cheap. It really must have been a mistake (but I wasn't telling them). It was a fair deal from my point of view.
That is a £300 top shelf bike jacket for £5 (a saving of £295).
Seriously this jacket represents outstanding value at £300.
I'd rate Teknic jackets up there with Hein Gericke (which I also rate highly in terms of bang for buck).
I'm looking for another but this time I'm prepared to pay at least double last time...
