I had a pair for 2 years that I recently sold as I'm getting rid of crap in preparation for a long trip. They were my every day commute boot of choice when the weather was above 65-70 degrees F, I'd ride to campus, go to class, walk around etc in them and basically they were my everyday footwear since I don't have a car.
Easy enough to walk in but I wouldn't want to hike in them all day, ok ankle and good foot protection. Also had a problem with the buckles breaking off at the plastic strap. Had waterproof boots for wet days though, the thor's have a large mesh panel and ventilation holes so they don't keep the rain or mist out.
