Baja where to stay
You'll probably be on Mex 1 all the way down...lots of people stay the first night at the Old Mill south of San Quintin....has about 3k of dirt off the main road...gettin up the next morn you can have breakfast at Mama Espinosa's in El Rosario.
Then you can continue on to San Ignacio and stay at the San Ignacio Springs B and B...and visit one of the nicest towns along the peninsula...Next day you might want to consider a side trip to Bahia De Los Angeles where you can stay at the Costa Del Sol and gaze out over the Sea of Cortez. Next day on to Mulege or Loreto where the number of options start to increase.
Old Mill
San Ignacio Springs B&B
The Baja Expo site has lots of info on accommodation all the way along the penisula.

Hope this helps a little.

If you're near Santa Rosalia the Hotel El Morro is a good place. Its 1km south of town on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The owner is a decent guy.
EL MORRO
Km 15 Carr Transp.
Tel/Fax: (115) 20414
1 mile south of Santa Rosalia on Hwy.1
Hotel also has restaurant, bar, & pool.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
