Bike rental in Mazatlan?
Did my taxes.
Cried a lot.
Canceled my 6 week trip to Europe.
Scheduled a 2 week trip to Mazatlan.
However, I'll be flying into Maz and would really like to rent a bike. Any size bigger than a moped would be nice.
I found one place that wants $50/day for a moped but I would like to get something a little bit bigger still for $50/day or less.
Maybe I'm dreaming, but if anyone knows of a place in or near Maz would you let me know?
Thanks.

I'm in Mazatlan at the moment and I'll have a sniff around but this place is an enclave of US/Canadian sunseekers so I would think first off that you will be paying US prices for anything over a tiddler. Ride safe.

Mike,
Thanks, I appreciate it.
I'm sorry to hear about the enclave. I had heard it wasn't that bad. I'm planning on staying away from the touristy areas so maybe it won't be too bad.

Hi Maja, not trying to hijack the thread. I don't have enough posts to PM you. I'll be down to Mazatlan next month for the rally and looking for some advice on economy lodging.
Thanks

I've also been checking into that and it seems the recommendations are Hotel Lerma and the Belmar. The Lerma is about 150 pesos per night and if you're staying longer the Belmar is said to have some good monthly rates.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
