Thanks,
I had looked at the website and had only found a car dealership for BMW in Teguc, but when I emailed them to enquire about bike servicing the email address was invalid. Do you have the link to the webpage you accessed it from please? Cheers.

I don't know which way you are headed, but I can recommend the BMW dealer in San Jose, Costa Rica (actually a suburb, can't remember the name). They are part of the BMW car dealership there. Mechanics name is Cristian, very knowledgable guy.

Sorry about that. You are right this is an auto only dealership. I guess that only leaves you with El Salvador or Costa Rica.

If you're going that far down then I can recommend Panama City. They sell enough bikes there to have reasonable mechanics. I had my Dakar serviced there with no problems in 2004

Here in Guatemala we have a full service BMW motorcycle dealer and a independant shop. By far your best choice in Central America for parts and service.

All that I have been able to find in Tegus is a Honda motorcycle dealership that doesn't have much, and a small off-road/dual-sport-oriented aftermarket parts shop just off Avenida 6e in Comayaguela.
