No Certificate of canceled import permit
Two years ago I took a bike into Mexico and cancelled the import permit when I left. I am heading into Mexico tomorrow and just read that I need a copy of "Certificate of canceled import permit". I do not have a copy. Anyone know if this is going to be an issue?

Update
To answer my own question it was not an issue.
In case anyone is interested here are the GPS coordinates for Banjercito south of San Diego, (the place to get a temporary import permit). Use the boarder crossing just east of San Ysidro.

Thanks for the info Bob, good to know. I left Mexico one time (years ago) and never checked out ... because NO ONE showed up at the Bancjercito office after hours of waiting. (Mexicali, East crossing)This caused re-entry problems later.
I went on a Black List. NO ENTRADA. (with vehicle) Took ages to solve this.
But last time I went I checked out properly and still have my receipt. I checked out at Tijuana Bancjercito (San Ysidro).
They took a pic of my VIN, scanned into their computer. Then told me my deposit had been credited to my credit card and gave me a receipt. I haven't needed a TVIP since (only Baja last few years) but will return soon for a longer trip, so will take my TVIP "check out" receipt just in case.
Really ridiculous system that does not work for it's intended purpose.

At least Mexico does give you paperwork to prove you have checked out properly.
In other places further south, you just hand over your TIP and sometimes they never get around to processing it. One couple I know got to the border post in Argentina and were told they had several uncancelled TIPS to their name going back 3 years.
Took them a long detour and a couple of days to get it all smoothed out.
