Panama-Columbia transportation
Hi
I`m heading south with my Africa Twin. In Mexico now. Need some info about the transportation to Colombia. Any contacts, links, waypoints will be useful. Thanks!

Pretty simple, by air it is expensive and fast, by sea it is slow and expensive! By air, pretty straightforward to show up at the airport, by sea takes a little more planning to time your arrival with ship departure. A good place to read and research is the following link. Ride safe.

shipping
I second that , I shipped mine in my past trip and the difference between boat and flight was not that big , easy to do at the airport . The flight can be done to Baranquilla or Bogota .

The price in airport is fixed. In case of sail boat I have a choice (right now dont have ) and I can talk with the captain about the price. I just want to save some money. Anyway thank you for the responding!

This question is asked here almost weekly. The answers don't change much. If you really crave answers, probably you'll find a search helpful.
You don't get much choice this time of year. Whatever choices you do get, mamallena hostel will know about. Panama City Hostels - Mamallena backpackers, Panama City or give them a call.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
