My girlfriend and I drove to panama from the us. We drove in a 2002 sprinter van, badged freightliner, made by mercedes. Today the engine kicked the bucket. We think that it is camshaft bearings, coupled with oil delivery issues. Its the 2.7 turbo diesel, with many new parts. We built the interior of the van ourselves, and it is truly awesome. 600w of solar on the roof, close to 550 amp hours of battery storage. Sink, 35 gallon water tank, stove, drawers, storage etc. Also included could be surfboards (5) two singlespeed bicycles, a whitewater kayak, and all kinds of other stuff. We cannot repair the van here, due to lack of time. Parts take forever to get here, and it is a fairly major repair. We need to get rid of the van, in order to get my motorcycle out of the country. I am not sure why, but the Aduanas people say I need to sell the van to leave. We put over $30,000 in to this vehicle, but now we need to go. We would sell it with or with out the modifications, but we need to unload it quick and are open to pretty much all offers. This could be a good way to get your solar system for your house... Plus a shed. Or if you want to fix the van, it is an awesome travel machine. Its titled in Nevada, USA. We hold title. Looking for any offers, or we are pretty much going to abandon it.
