Where to find tires in Panama?
Hey guys, I am looking for dual sport tires in Panama City right now and I have not been able to find the inexpensive ones (non dealer) in my size. I have located a front tire (Kenda) that will fit but is slightly too narrow.
I have a BMW F650 and the rear tire is 130/80/17 and the front tire is 100/90/17 I think.
Thanks,
Geoff

MPH Motos Panama City
On the one way street that goes to the BMW dealer, just before you get to the BMW, there´s a suzuki or Kawasaki dealer on the corner with ? maybe it´s Ave Brazil ?, turn left and go up the hill about a block or two and on the left there´s a place called MPH. They had a rear tire for my R100GS a couple of weeks ago and were really friendly and it lokked like they would know where to go if they can´t help you.

Thanks for your help runnoft. Unfortunately I already went to all the places you mentioned today and had no luck. MPH does carry a Kenda tire for my front tire, but it is looking like I will have to buy the back one from the dealer.

KLR´s use a 16 inch rear tire right? I have been able to find those. I have not been able to find a 17 inch 130/80.

Info
Check out bike shops around the world. I posted there about a great mechanic in Panama City. He won't have the tires but he will definetly help you find the right tire for the right price. Great guy, CONTACT HIM! He will make things easy for you, I promise. Tell Antonio I said hi.
