Hi,
I use tmfweb. They are free, don't put commercial banners on the stuff and since I use there service I never had a problem.
You can "open" a acount on-line (from a internet-cafee or something like that) and imidiately you have internet-acces, email-facilities and some space to build your web on (I think 15 or 20 Mb but I am not sure)
All this for free.

This Irish hosting service has proved good for me...
http://www.hosting365.ie
They have a web chat support service (daytime GMT hours) and have Linux and Windows servers from 12 euros a month. Ad free and good number of real pop email accounts, PHP and MySQL if needed.

Hi Mike, how did you go with this? Any luck? I am in the same boat, looking for a decent UK-based ISP that also does domain names...

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
