Any one used Darr panniers on DR650s?
Zu bestellen bei Daerr.de: DÄRR- Motorrad- Box JUMBO, Aluminium in 1,2 mm - Heavy Duty (Därr)
Sorry but my German is a little lacking. I'm on the hunt for some cheap metal boxes - Does anyone know if these guys do a mounting kit for DR650s? It looks like they do for Africa Twins.
It doesn't look like they do different sized boxes so do you end up with one pannier sticking out a bit further due to the exhaust? They look like they might be just a little big for me plus I just noticed Happy Trails doing full sets for $600 which isn't too bad.

The Happy Trail is a far superior box IMHO and at $600 is very good value , BUT maybe you should check the cost of shipping to wherever you are , it can be a "deal killer" sometimes .

I am also looking for panniers for my DR650. I have sent Tim Bernard at Happy Trails two e-mails but no response to either. Maybe his e-mail address has changed or he doesn't need the business.
Mike can you please let mew know which ones you finally settle for.
Thanks
Peter

I've emailed both Darr and Happy Trails, no response as yet. I'm still in two minds about using soft luggage such as Andy Strapz for the next trip but still have some concerns over security unfortunately.
