I bought one of those for my Latin America trip a couple years ago. I wanted a flip front, so I could show my face when I didn't want to take the helmet all the way off, so people at least had a chance to lip read my pitiful Spanish. I picked the KBC mainly because it had die cast metal parts in the latching mechanism. I had an HJC before, and it never did latch properly. The KBC is noisy, as all flip fronts are, but no real complaints. Mine has over 30,000 miles on it now, and I still use it often, although I have a solid chin bar Shoei that I prefer. I think the KBC is the best of a sorry lot in cheap flip fronts. I haven't used any of the high end ones, so I can't compare there.
