Thanks Bill. Glad to see there are other more of us out there with the proper number of wheels  .
The Bonneville's range is a rubbish 150 miles and includes a fuel tap set up that's so restrictive it won't even stand an inline filter as standard  . Normally this is fine, but planning a ride into Morocco with a mate on a Bullet it makes sense for me to carry enough fuel for both bikes when out on the piste (that doesn't involve  I'm told  ) . As I'll only use this set up once a year tops I'm keeping it simple but thinking about taking off the heavy body and going with a MX type load platform.
Still at the planning stage, so lots of time to experiment.
