I use the Dual-Star ones on my KTM 640 Adventure. They attach to the handlebars directly on not on the threaded clamps that mirrors are meant to attach to. http://www.dual-star.com/index2/Equi...le_mirror3.htm
The good:
- there is no way these mirrors will break
- there is no possibility of breaking those clamps that hold the clutch cable assembly, etc...
The bad:
- you can't see very much out of them, especially with luggage
- if they are convex like the company claims, I can't see it
The ugly:
- they look ridiculous on a touring bike, though for some reason all the Japanese thought they were cool when I was there
