SW Motech / Airhawk Traveller Pro cushion
Hi,
I have used this cushion during 6 month and 40'000 km on my bike, I just cannot ride without it now !
I used to be prone to back pain after riding, no problem anymore.
And I could ride for hours without pain to the a...
It costed me 230 euros, not cheap, but clearly the best buy I've made for my bike.
And it's still in perfect condition, no wear nor puncture. It is made in partnership with Airhawk.
Important, do not inflate it too much. Generally I use a pressure equal to the atmosphere, ie I inflate it, then let the valve open 10 seconds for pressure to equilibrate with ambiant pressure, then I close the valve. Everyone will have its own setup, but I think this one is a good start.
SW-MOTECH and AIRHAWK® Collaborate to Develop Traveller Motorcycle Touring Cushion Line | Cycle World
I cannot find it on SW motech webshop anymore, it has perhaps been discontinued, but you will equivalent cushions at Airhawk.

Air hawk
Hi Jill,
Can only agree with you,had mine for many years and many km,can't ride without it any more.
Had a puncture recently, got repair pads from the manufacturer,as good as gold again, the colour has faded under the Australian sun,but my bum doesn't mind it.
Low pressure is the secret.
Cheers
Rusty

$260 for a seat sushion
Maybe I should own a KLR but that's pretty dear - even if it is super comfy.

I use the Airhawk 2 - Cruiser.
It's perfect for most narrower enduro seats.
The airhawk 2 is the cheaper variety and made of lesser quality materials. Mine is five years old and still going strong though.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
