As I said, they are the same group, so you'll find some parts commonality when there's a chance of saving on the development of a new part, and unfortunately the painting procedures were group policy.
But they are neither designed nor built in the same factory as the Fiat cars.
WMs are also available from truck4x4.it if you don't mind LHD. (I like the idea of plastic bodywork.
Has anybody found a universal type CV boot that lasts longer than the OE ones?

No wasn't me in the 130 - I sold mine a few years ago - according to a bloke from Marshalls, who built the 130's, mine was the only one built with aircon.

although it has now been retro fitted, and you can fit two coke cans in the aircon box and they come out lovely and cold!!

The boots on mine are 15 years old with no sign of wear. They are really thick rubber, perhaps they are stronger military spec ones? WM parts are available from dealers but it usually take a lot of persistance and an enthusiastic guy on the parts counter to admit it. I'm hopefully sourcing an Iveco parts CD with WM stuff soon so may be able to come up with a part number.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
