Blow back on V8
Hello everyone, on our way to ghana and since leaving the Uk we seem to have a blowout happening with our 3.4 V8 in our landy. The last part of the exhaust is just new, we checked all filters and fuel stream (constant and fine) but somehow as soon as we drive around 15,35,65 it seems as if the engine holds back, then jumps forward. Several machanics say they cant see anything wrong, carbs are set correctly at 27 last moneth, but sometimes the little balc caps come off (mechanic said this should no a problem??) , no cables touching with metal.... Could it be the air pressure in the exhaust, and does anyone recognise this problem???

ANY IDEAS?????Hope you can help,

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
