Well, this reply is not much help, as I don't know where all the ECUs are on a Hilux, on a 105 series cruiser there are a lot of electronics (even for a 'non electronic' vehicle) behind the kick plate in the passenger footwell After I drowned my 105 all these electronics gave serious problems - power windows, locks and antenna.... Drying it out was the worst, and even 6 months later we had to strip out carpets as there are so many areas up into the dash with foam noise reducing stuff that just trapped water. Eventually the whole vehicle started smelling. If the 'lux is like LCs then the ABS fuses are probably in a box under the bonnet, so I would open it all up and look for water affected connections, dry it all out and pull fuses and relays and clean the connections. Electrical contact spray might also be a good help.
To be honest to replace one bent con-rod on my 105 submarine was easier than the drying/fiddling with electrics. If I had done the same thing with a new type 200 series I reckon we would have had a REAL problem. Best of luck,
Gil
