Jerry can seals
Anyone know where to get replacement seals for water jerries in the UK. Can find fuel seals but not water.
Many thanks,
Andrew.

Hi,
If you are using British military water jerrycans, try these guys...
http://www.cobbatoncombat.co.uk/sales/misc.htm
IMHO the britsh water jerries have very poor seals, try for US military water jerrycans - they are much much better - they have a much bigger filler - easier to pour water into - and with good o rings that dont leak.
Cheers

Have done some looking at US jerry cans and they seem better - cannot find any for sale in the UK, any ideas?

I also have some leaky UK water cans and would like to replace them before my next trip.
Please advise if you find a supplier
Thanks Kitmax

Pieces of old car inner tube, cut to shape, work fine with the metal jerries, if you can't get OE seals maybe that'll have to do.

An update for The Canadian/USA military Fuel/Water cans, they are made by:
www.scepter.com
Very well made gear - but also expensive over here due to shipping costs. Looking at £30 + vat for the Water MWC5 or the diesel MFC olive drab - that buys a lot of the old ones....
The UK agent is:
