unproffessional reserve tank bodge
I'm bodging in an auxiliary tank behind the bulkhead of my 110. To keep things simple and with time being short I've decided to simply gravity feed it into the main tank via a fuel tap and some 6mm hose.
My questions are:
What's the best way to connect the 6mm (id) hose? My plan so far is to attach the hose somehow to the fuel filler pipe on the main tank. (A neat hole, Jubilee clip and sealant job perhaps?)
Also, would there be a breathing (or other) problem when transferring fuel with the caps in place? I'd prefer to have the option of transferring 'on the go'.
I know there are far better permanent solutions, but needs must. Brighter or better ideas appreciated!
