I'm looking at options fr a bigger vehicle (the missus wants a bit more comfort than my landcruiser 60 can offer!!)
One of these is definitely in the frame as a cheaper alternative to a unimog and smaller than a regular truck.
What kind of fuel consumption are people getting with these? I know chris was saying on his site about 8.5mpg has been quoted but I am interested what people are getting in the real world?

If anyone is interested, please let me know by email.

Long shot, but has anybody has the repair manual in English?
Thanks!

MAN 8.136 PTO Instructions
Anybody out there have instructions for the PTO driven winch on an Ex-Danish 8.136 4x4? I got power @ the controller all the way to the winch box but no movement of the winch when switching the hand controller in/out. I can see the "switch" changing polarity on the winch box and movement of the plunger and the dash light comes on and both air actuators are working. I know I'm just missing something silly.
