Lightbulb Bike storage through out europe

Hello,
Iv been planing a couple months clockwise trip around europe for this summer as i was out of work.
But iv just got a regular shift 1 month on, 1 month off on working on a vessel.
As i still want to do the trip, i was thinking of heading off and when im due to go work, find some where (safe n cheap to leave the bike for 4 weeks, go work then return and continue riding.
im guessing i will be wanting to store the bike somewhere around the very top of norway the end of june.
then somwhere romainia'ish around the end of august.
and so on until i get get board or the bike gives up

If any one has any experiance of temp bike storage around europe, or got any idears of good places i can do this it would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers George

I have stored my bike in Europe for a few years now, in Heidelberg, Southern Spain, and now Milan with Stefan Knopf, Motoadventours, and Mototouring, respectively. No probs so far.

I forgot to mention the price--typically is it about 50 euro a month.

Plenty of warm dry garage space here in North East Italy, for you, or anyone else who needs storage.

PM me if that could sound interesting, only thing is that I'll be in the UK in mid august, coming back on the 26th . Trieste airport is a 20 minute bus ride from my house

I can offer you a safe storage in my garage for a couple of weeks in Munich (southern Germany) if you're interested. No charge obviously, plus a free couch to crash on for all travellers

BIke storage

We will be at our house in the Dordogne, France from around August to at the earliest spring next year (2013). Should have some room there for storage if anyone needs it.
We are thinking about setting up a cheap Moto Camp there to off set the ridiculously expensive prices camp sites charge that we have encountered since getting back into Europe. Anyone passing through is more than welcome to drop in for a or three.
Email us in plenty of time though .. we will have to go to MacDonalds for interweb.

Bke storage - CZ

I live just outside of Prague about 30 mins from Prague airport and have spare room in my barn which is dry and has full worksop facilities so you want some where in Central Europe as a base to tour around from just let me know.
I am a Brit so no language problems, might be able to help with airport collection!

good luck

I'm in central france (Burgundy) & can provide bike storage for as long as you like either at work or at home. Couple hours south of Paris by train or depending on timing I can run you to CDG airport if push comes to shove.

let me know if that's of any help.

ooops, just seen the timescale of this & you're probably far far away by now...
